Krill Aye? (Super Sup Nerd Alert!) You know, that pink color comes from their Astaxanthin, the same thing that makes Flamingos Pink. It’s extracted and sold as a powerful anti-oxidant for eyes and other soft tissues. Krill is also an excellent source of Omega 3, so go harvest some next time!

Wow. Sounds like you have had one giant roller coaster the last seven months. In a small way, I can relate (still lots of *movement* in ChCh and some family stuff too). I do hope your back heals up and you feel strong soon.

If by some miracle you make it to NZ by 24 Nov, I have an apartment in Opua for 2 days and will be cooking up a huge veggie T-day feast. Plenty of wine and laughter.

Thanks for the updates. Too bad I have to wait until December to continue my tour of the South Pacific with you. Hope things go well for you back here in the states. One quick question (I hope I’m not committing a cruising faux pas by asking), what does one pay to moor a boat like that for 6-8 months in New Zealand? I couldn’t imagine leaving my boat 1000′s of miles away for that long.
